The simplest way to dry any filament including PLA, is to simply chuck it in the oven and let it dry out. The longer you leave in the filament, the better the drying. For PLA, a maintained temperature between 104-113 F (40-45 C) is recommended.

Turn the food dehydrator on, and set the temperature to 65 degrees Celsius (149 degrees Fahrenheit). Allow the filament to dry for at least 3 hours in the food dehydrator.
